The Frisco Kid is a 1979 American western comedy film directed by Robert Aldrich, starring Gene Wilder as Avram Belinski, a Polish rabbi who is traveling to San Francisco, and Harrison Ford as a bank robber who befriends him. Rabbi Avram Belinski (Wilder), newly graduated at the bottom of his class from the yeshiva, arrives in Philadelphia from Poland en route to San Francisco where he will be a congregation's new rabbi. The Frisco Kid has been added to your Cart. I don't know why it wasn't more popular. I tell my friends it is sort of a "Thelma and Louise" for guys. Gene Wilder was brilliant. I think this was one of his best performances. And Harrison Ford did it again. At the beginning of the film, Ford was driving me crazy. He grew on me faster than Wilder's character. A touching, brilliantly funny, well paced film.

Moving to Ivy Kids Frisco is the best thing we could have ever done for our boys eaps & bounds over where he would have been at our previous daycare. I only wish they'd been around sooner for our oldest, but he's in before/after & will be doing summer camp. He loves it there & asks to go, which is a huge step compared to our previous daycare! We had previously been at a school that made you think their way was the best & if you disagreed they immediately told you, you were wrong & what you were doing was going to 'hurt' your kids
