This LP has a fairly loose set by pianist Earl Hines in a quartet with guitarist Tiny Grimes, bassist Hank Young and drummer Bert Dahlander. Their version of "Watermelon Man" is a bit lightweight and some of the ballads have been overdone through the years but these renditions of "Second Balcony Jump," "Memories of You" and "Showboat Medley" are quite enjoyable. It's not essential but also not a bad acquisition.
