Nanna is the eighth studio album recorded by Xavier Rudd and the United Nations, a band featuring a diverse group of musicians from Australia, South Africa, Samoa, Germany, Ireland and Papua New Guinea. The album was recorded and self-produced in Australia and mixed by Errol Brown in Jamaica.

Across the Atlantic, Xavier Rudd & The United Nations will spend June and July on a European tour, performing for fans in 16 cities across seven countries, before heading back to Australia for the Flag Tour. An incredible itinerary. With 35 dates across all states (including performances at theDarwin Festival and Caloundra Music Festival) the Flag Tour is not just regional Australia's first up-close introduction to Xavier Rudd & The United Nations, but also the largest regional tour Xavier has undertaken since his 2012 gold-selling masterpiece, Spirit Bird. Xavier Rudd’s live performance setup has shifted over the years, running the gamut from one-man band to fronting a group of eight as Xavier Rudd & The United Nations. While his touring band includes musicians from all over the world, his latest release Nanna takes his appreciation for world music into the studio. The full-length, his first since 2012’s Spirit Bird, was mixed by Errol Brown at Tuff Gong Studios and is set for release next week. Stream the album in its entirety in the player above. Australian songwriter and t Xavier Rudd usually performs solo, though he has stepped out with other musicians before, most notably on 2010's Koonyum Sun with the trio Izintaba. On Nanna, Rudd fronts an international, multi-generational nonet of stellar players. Though it was recorded and self-produced in Australia, it was mixed by the legendary Errol Brown at Tuff Gong in Kingston, Jamaica. Thanks to him, Rudd's vision of reggae is made flesh on Nanna.
