The Scream is the popular name given to a composition created by Norwegian Expressionist artist Edvard Munch in 1893. The original German title given by Munch to his work was Der Schrei der Natur (The Scream of Nature), and the Norwegian title is Skrik (Shriek). The agonised face in the painting has become one of the most iconic images of art, seen as symbolising the anxiety of modern man.

Released in 1995, this album is about 50% noise and 50% songs and marked a significant change in the band's style. Anal Cunt toured America again, and then in June they toured Japan for the first time. After this, Kozik was replaced by Scott Hull, of Pig Destroyer and Agoraphobic Nosebleed fame. With this line-up (or variations on it), the album 40 More Reasons to Hate Us was recorded, and this album marked another change in the band's direction, as it marks the start of them having lyrics and insults contained in their songs.

But after getting a certain success guys decided to start from nothing and they didn't lose.
