About Yeah Yeah Yeahs. An Art-Punk band formed out of New York’s Post-Punk Revival scene in the late 1990s, early 2000s, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are composed of lead vocalist Karen O, guitarist Nick Zinner, and drummer Brian Chase. Best songs include Maps, Y Control, Cheated Hearts, Turn Into, Zero, and Heads Will Roll. Popular Yeah Yeah Yeahs songs.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs moved to Interscope for their debut album, 2003's Fever to Tell. Boasting a cleaner sound and more eclectic songwriting than their EPs, the album continued their critical acclaim and also won them a fair amount of commercial success: the gorgeous ballad "Maps" became a hit in 2004 and pushed Fever to Tell to gold status that year. Karen O also moved to Los Angeles in 2004, making the Yeah Yeah Yeahs a bicoastal band. The group took some time to pursue individual projects in 2005.
For the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' fourth album, they returned to the casual creative processes that produced their first demo and electrifying debut album, yet they struggle to recapture their early vitality. Yeah Yeah Yeahs' 2003 debut, Fever to Tell, is one of those achievements: Even if you didn't make it to one of the infamous early New York shows and have the pleasure of getting your glasses sprinkled with the beery spit of a grinning, lipstick-smeared frontwoman in tattered Christian Joy, the record itself did a commendable job of bottling that experience. It was a debut that aced music's classic chemistry lesson: Combine a few unlikely, molten compounds, take a step back, and wait for the bang
