One Hell of a Woman is the 20th studio album by American singer Vikki Carr (born Florencia Bisenta de Casillas Martinez Cardona in El Paso Texas on July 19, 1941) released in 1974 on the Columbia Records label. It reached in the US Billboard 200 chart. Three singles were released from the album, Sleeping Between Two People", "One Hell of a Woman" and "Wind Me Up", the latter reaching in the US adult contemporary chart. Anatomy of Love is the fourth album by Vikki Carr, released in 1965 on the Liberty Records label. The album sleeve included a liner note by Ethel Merman praising Vikki's talent. Side 1. In 2001, she released a bilingual holiday album, The Vikki Carr Christmas Album. Carr appeared to great acclaim in a 2002 Los Angeles production of the Stephen Sondheim musical Follies, which also featured Hal Linden, Patty Duke and Harry Groener. In 2006, Carr made a cameo appearance in a straight-to-video thriller called Puerto Vallarta Squeeze. Carr hosted a PBS TV special in 2008, Fiesta Mexicana, which celebrated the music and dance of Mexico. I believe she had experienced her divorce before or when this album came out and it certainly reflected the changes she personally underwent, coming from a traditional latino background, with a very strong father figure.
