Coldfish about the album: "The Orphans is about contrasts and contradictions on the same level. I tried to make an individual collection of nine tracks which are different by each but all together they can represent the importance of breaking the rules of nowadays techno music. I wanted to make it as raw as i can, by producing all tracks from a very tight sampler collection, but making them flat but living as much as it possible.

Zoltan Toth aka Coldfish started listening to electronic music at the late 90s in various radio shows and later in live shows. As he was keen on music, he went to see almost everyone from the scene he could - and had a passion to understand various styles from trip hop to nu jazz. Finally he found his home in house, in 2001-2002 there were many excellent house tracks in the market. These were the best years for progressive house.
