But the result is a fantastic performance of Mozart's "Die Zauberflöte" by Sir Thomas Beecham and the Berlin Philharmonic. I have not seen the set, but from what I have read it consisted of no less than 19 very heavy shellac records that were stopped from production almost as soon as they started, due to wartime shortages in the UK.
