Pickin' Up the Pieces is the debut album by country rock band Poco, released in 1969. It was one of the earliest examples of the emerging genre of country rock. Several of the songs here date back to Richie Furay's days in Buffalo Springfield. An early version of "What a Day" was included on the Springfield's eponymous box set in 2001. Bassist Randy Meisner appears on the album but quit the band shortly before the record was released

Pick Up the Pieces may refer to: Pick Up the Pieces (album), a 1977 album by The Royals, or the title song. Pick Up the Pieces EP, a 2008 EP by A Thorn for Every Heart, or the title song. Pick Up the Pieces, a 1981 album by Eddie Kirkland, or a later short film about him. "Pick Up the Pieces" (Average White Band song), 1974. Pick Up the Pieces (To My Heart)" a 1989 song and EP single by Cindy Valentine. Pick Up the Pieces" (Jason Derulo song), 2011.

Pick Up the Pieces is the debut album from Jamaican roots reggae group The Royals, collecting recordings made between 1973 and 1977, and produced by Royals lead vocalist and only constant member Roy Cousins. Musicians on the album include members of The Wailers, Soul Syndicate, The In Crowd, and the Now Generation. The album was later licensed to United Artists subsidiary Ballistic Records, and was reissued in an expanded form in 2002 by Pressure Sounds

Picking Up the Pieces will include new songs ( Love Used to Be, Mercy ) as well as unrecorded tracks that have long made the rounds at Jewel’s live shows like Carnivore and Boy Needs a Bike, both of which she’s been playing since the mid-Nineties and are pure Lilith Fair-era wandering folk narratives with her signature balance of gritty growl. My focus for this CD was to forget everything I have learned about the music business the last 20 years and get back to what my bones have to say about songs and words and feeling and meaning, Jewel writes on her blog

This song is by Ricky Nelson and appears on the album For Your Sweet Love (1963). You broke my heart in a million piecesI haven't been quite the same since thenCan't we pick up the pieces, put them togetherAnd start all over again. You went away and my whole heart crumbledAll of my dreams were just torn apartCan't we pick up the pieces, put them togetherAnd try to make a brand new start.
