King of Pain" is a song by English rock band The Police, released as the final single from their fifth and final studio album Synchronicity (1983). Written by the band's lead singer and bassist Sting as a post-separation song from his wife, "King of Pain" conjures up symbols of pain and relates them to a man's soul. A&M Records released "King of Pain" as the album's fourth single in the UK, while in many other countries it was released as the second single. It was released on November 27, 2007 by Epic Records. The album features a track listing chosen entirely by the band's fans, with the band determining which version appears on the record (. live, demo, acoustic), as well as two new songs, "Dull Boy" and a cover of The Police's song "King of Pain" (both produced by Dave Fortman).

The only down point for the album is the ballad, the emotional Where Am I Going?. Here Niihara displays the lower range of his vocals, and he actually sounds almost like (forgive me for the comparison) Avenged Sevenfold's M. Shadows and sounds almost like an obligatory track in the album. But it is also on this track a new style of vocals is introduced, a which was out of character of Niihara's usual style and sounded out of place from the album.

Finnish female-fronted metallers BATTLE BEAST will release their fourth album, titled "Bringer Of Pain", on February 17, 2017 via Nuclear Blast Records.
