Coming Up is the third album by English alternative rock band Suede, released on 2 September 1996 through Nude Records. It was the band's first album since the departure of guitarist Bernard Butler, who was replaced by Richard Oakes. Also added to the band was keyboardist Neil Codling. The album was nominated for the 1997 Mercury Prize

Coming Up" is a song written and performed by English musician Paul McCartney, released as the opening track on his 1980 solo album McCartney II. Like other songs on the album, the song has a minimalist synthesised sound, featuring sped-up vocals created by using a vari-speed tape machine.

Up and Coming is a studio album by guitarist John Abercrombie with pianist Marc Copland, bassist Drew Gress, and drummer Joey Baron that was recorded in 2016 and released in 2017 by ECM Records. The album contains eighth tracks: seven originals by Abercrombie and Copland and a cover version of "Nardis" by Miles Davis.

It was the band's first album since the departure of guitarist Bernard Butler, who was replaced by Richard Oakes. The album was nominated for the 1997 Mercury Prize. A commercial and critical success, Coming Up was the second by the band to reach no. 1 on the UK Albums Chart, producing five top ten singles and receiving a favourable reception at home and in the US. Coming Up was the album that introduced Suede to a worldwide audience, in places such as Europe, Canada and Asia.

It’s the day before the release day the band’s fourth album and a week ahead of a headline set on the Other Stage at Glastonbury. After a a period of heavy touring and launching second album, 2012’s 'Beacon', the band neared implosion. Recovering from an identity-crisis and addiction-induced involuntary hiatus, 2016’s 'Gameshow' represented a process of rebuilding: It was very much getting to know each other again. The studio wasn't particularly comfortable, the guitarist recalls hesitantly.
