Midnight River Choir. Texas Groove - feel good music. That being said, my time with my brothers of The Midnight River Choir is coming to a bitter sweet end so I can spend my limited time working to be a better father, husband and friend. My passion for the music will never change. I will still be writing and maybe one day that will lead somewhere. Until then,God and I will be doing a lot of talking to write my next chapter. As for my MRC brothers, they will keep burning the midnight oil with a new vigor and renewed energy that I am certain will captivate as much or more than before. The story of Midnight River Choir is proof that sometimes great bands just happen. As they made their way down the river singing songs, the beautiful harmonies floated into the heads of sleeping campers. The next morning, the boys overheard a man telling a friend that he was awakened by a midnight river choir. That was all it took. When that kind of energy lands back at the feet of the boys it is something of supreme intensity.

Midnight on the Water is a solo classical/bluegrass album by Mark O'Connor. In it are six of his original caprices and four improvisations, as well as his arrangements of some traditional folk works. The caprices are loosely based on Paganini's 24 Caprices for Solo Violin. They are in much the same spirit of technical difficulty - Mark O'Connor's word was that "This album easily represents my best playing on a recording.
