Provocative is the 4th album by American R&B recording artist Johnny Gill. It was his second album for Motown Records and fourth album overall. Three singles were released from the album with music videos. The first single "The Floor" was accompanied by a music video directed by Julien Temple. Temple previously directed the music video "Fairweather Friend" from Gill's previous album. The second single "I Got You" was directed by Sanji.

a Edward . born 1974, was educated as sound-designer for cinema/TV production at Kiev's University of Theatre, Cinema & TV Arts. He started playing music (usually bass or guitar) in early 90s in various now neglected indie-rock groups and creating soundtracks for short indie movies, utilising tape loops, field recordings and vintage Soviet synths. Some of his sound-works for films won prestige prizes on different Cinema Festivals (incl. Sergey Paradzhanov's Prize).
