Gloveless Brain Transplant showcased his ability to distort and compress sounds without ever making it sound shitty, resulting in a thick, damaged, and incredibly unique sound. It's evident from the way he produces that his sound should be attracting every rapper willing to make their next project pop, and thankfully Atlanta-bred rapper Yung Skrrt has taken notice.

His debut album, Gloveless Brain Transplant, growls, hisses, and spits back. It’s hard and fuzzy, looming like an omnipresent form of some kind. Employing what are essentially producer no-nos, his debut album sounds like it was compressed down to fit on a Megadrive cartridge. Everything about his music comes across as if it was blasted through a broken amp, toying with melodies as strong as they come, but textures as broken as possible.
