City of God – 10 Years Later is a 2013 Brazilian documentary film directed by Cavi Borges and Luciano Vidigal. The documentary shows what has changed in the lives of the actors from the 2002 feature film, City of God. The actors who portrayed Dadinho, Bené, and Li'l Zé, as well as the actress Alice Braga and musician and actor Seu Jorge participated in this documentary ten years after starring in the earlier film, directed by Fernando Meirelles.

All proceeds from the June 7 show at the El Rey went to MusiCares and a Place Called Home. The band has also appeared and performed at Sundance, SXSW, SweetLife, and ULTRA. The band premiered the official video of "Safe and Sound" on April 25, 2013 on VEVO. The clip was directed by Grady Hall (Beck, Modest Mouse).

Ten years after the Rio shantytown called City of God burst into the world's consciousness with the hit film of the same name, Donna Bowater catches up with some of the cast members. Now home to around 40,000 people, the community was originally built for families relocated to the outskirts by Rio's authorities to rid the city centre of its favelas. However, it became notorious for its gangsters, criminals and dangerous streets. Image caption Leandro Firmino became a household name when the film was released.
