An album is a collection of audio recordings issued as a collection on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium. Albums of recorded music were developed in the early 20th century as individual 78-rpm records collected in a bound book resembling a photograph album; this format evolved after 1948 into single vinyl LP records played at 33 1⁄3 rpm. Vinyl LPs are still issued, though album sales in the 21st-century have mostly focused on CD and MP3 formats.

Essential jack compilation imho. The jacktrax series are to blame for a big part of my music addiction. So many classics on one album it doesn't even make sense to start listing them, just read the tracklist and see for yourself. Only one or two tracks don't measure up to my chicago expectations. TAPE 4 by Ursidae, released 06 August 2015 1. Side A 2. Side B Tape 4 in the series. Side A is a collection of sounds from the beaches of Maine, as well as the house I live in. No instrumentation on this side just straight Musique Concrete style collage. Side B is a collection of sounds that I field recorded at a protest for Michael Brown, on the day that a grand jury chose not to indict his killer. It was an emotional and powerful experience. Thousands took to the streets of Manhattan, shutting down traffic and making themselves heard

Demo Tape 4, despite the name, is actually the fifth demo tape released by System of a Down. It is notably longer than the other demo tapes; while the others were three or four tracks long, this is thirteen tracks long, and closer to an actual album in length. It was never meant to be released to the public, and was meant for record companies; however, it eventually found its way onto the internet

This, however, was mostly made up of original songs with original production with Funkmaster Flex providing the DJ mix.
