Blotto is a 1930 American pre-Code comedy film starring Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. The short was produced by Hal Roach and originally distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. During the Prohibition era, Laurel and Hardy make plans to spend a wild night out at the Rainbow Club.

In the Colonel Blotto game, two players concurrently allocate resources across n battlefields. The player with the greatest resources in each battlefield wins that battle and the player with the most overall wins is the victor.
