Just Visiting Part One was originally going to be released as one album combined with Just Visiting Part two however the band decided it would be better publicity for it to be released separately. Cog has been raved about for their live shows and this was their first attempt at making something so the fans could take home their own piece of Cog. The sound of Cog's music is unique; they have added keyboard and multiple guitar dubs to fill gaps. The guitar is executed well; it is slightly distorted with a bit of reverb but honestly nothing incredible to write home about technically

Cog is a heavy rock band with progressive elements from Sydney, Australia. They've been making a big name for themselves over the last 2 years with their live shows and their two EP's and single. The band consists of: Flynn Gower - Guitar/Vocals Luke Gower - Bass/Backup Vocals Luscius Borich - Drums/Backup Vocals/Bass on JV recordings. Just Visiting is a 2 ep set, it was written as an album, but without the funds to make one, they split it into two parts.

Just Visiting is a two-part 2002 Cog EP series recorded, besides vocals, in the late 90s. Guitar and drums were recorded at Stage Door Rehearsal Studio, in Alexandria, Sydney, Australia, while bass guitar was recorded by drummer Lucius Borich, at his home on a TASCAM 8-track portastudio, before Luke Gower joined the band. These tracks served as demonstration recordings that had them booked for performance, and eventually signed to booking agent TPA, through Owen Orford.
