I think this album was originally going to be called "Everest." That title was listed on Denny Laine's website in the discography section. His website now no longer exists (as of May 2019) but at the start of the 2000's was there. I searched endlessly for the Everest album but never found it. By some of the track titles on The Blue Musician it would seem that this album could easilly have been called Everest. If anyone can clarify this it would be much appreciated

Hi. Re your query, there was an album from '88 called ''Master Suite''. This featured six of the tracks from 'The Blue Musician' and six which do not appear on it. As you'll know, Denny's cd releases are a right old pig's ear, through no fault of the man himself, but due to the idiocy and or indolence of record companies. That 'Ahh...Laine' is not on cd, nor 'Anyone Can Fly' etc. is just scandalous, surely?! Oh for a box set, which could contain the rarer stuff. Anyway, best regards and happy collecting.
