The Delay In The Universal Loop is the stage name of Dylan Iuliano, an Italian-based electronic musician originally from San Nazzaro (Campania), a small municipality in the province of Benevento, Italy. His music has been described as a blend of abstract psychedelia, noise, electronica, new wave, dance and alternative rock. The Delay In The Universal Loop's first full-length album Disarmonia was released in December 2013 via Factum Est and reissued in the United States by Dilated Time Records.

After releasing his debut album Disarmonia (2013) to critical acclaim, Iuliano left high school to tour extensively through Europe and North America in 2014. As he set off on his second North American tour, he debuted "Texan Daylight" via CMJ as the first single off his sophomore full length, Split Consciousness. The video offers similiar analog frights, with old VHS clips of smiling, dancing people spliced into screen-snow oblivion. CMJ. <

The album opens up with Flumen, a taste of the kind of vibey, semi-psychedelic mischief peppered throughout this album. It definitely sets the tone for the rest of the record. Eternauta sounds like it could’ve been on the last two MGMT records. The heady swirling of space bloops and phat drums carries over to the next track, In ogni mio futuro. Pythagoras is a proggy, almost math-like approach to glitch music. Disarmonia is still incredible, coming from a musician who’s still young enough to figure himself out and emulate anyone he wants. The Delay in the Universal Loop exudes such a scary amount of talent and potential that it’s hard to imagine what kind of damage he can make once he’s experienced the woes and wonders of being a 20-something.
