Cloud is the brainchild of 21 year-old Los Angelino Tyler Taormina, who has created a vibrant and warming collection of songs. The pace is slow, despite the pop melodies that drive it, and that allows it to penetrate the listener’s mind a little deeper as the mood of the album changes. On ‘Wish Little Fish’ for example, Taormina’s vocal is buried beneath drums and strings, moving slowly through a song that he somehow still utterly owns.

Cloud hails from Los Angeles via Boston via New York and is issuing his debut LP on acclaimed UK "Specialists in Commercial Suicide" label, Audio Antihero. Comfort Songs" is an LP of enthralling Alternative Pop which is drunk on optimism yet deep in regret; sonically vast and heavily percussive the album is gorgeously layered with rich piano, violin, gang vocals, trumpet, trombone, piercing guitars and fog thick atmosphere. Leading single "Mother Sea" was a perfect introduction to Cloud's rich textures and desperate torn vocals, thrashing piano and twisting.

Cars & It’s Autumn: This song was written on a series of melancholy walks and bike rides from my exgirlfriends apartment on Commonwealth Avenue, Boston. This is probably the only song I’ve ever recorded on a cloud album where I play the guitar. I am not so great at the guitar and never ever write songs on it. It was probably the first one written on the album. I feel as though it’s the most lighthearted song on ther. ut realizing the lyrics, I guess that’s only relative.
