As well as performances from world class bands, all of your favourite extras will be returning to STONE FREE FESTIVAL including the Speak Easy Lounge, Vinyl Fair, multiple stages taking over The O2 a fabulous Saturday Night After Show Party and Rock Royalty VIP packages. Also returning this year will be the acoustic beer garden, featuring performances from some of the best upcoming acoustic and rock talent in the country, all curated by Richer Unsigned.

Touring Rainbow and Deep Purple songs without Ronnie James Dio and Jon Lord is risky business, but Ritchie Blackmore’s 21st century Rainbow delivered an absolutely incredible performance, playing songs such as I surrender, Man on The Silver Mountain, Mistreated, Child in Time, Black Night and Burn. I go to gigs several nights a week most weeks, and I think it’s safe to say this is one of the best ones I’ve been to in a very, very long time.

Rainbow are an English-American hard rock band originally from Hertford, Hertfordshire. Formed in February 1975 by then-Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, the original lineup of the group also included former Elf members Ronnie James Dio (vocals), Craig Gruber (bass), Gary Driscoll (drums) and Micky Lee Soule (keyboards), who recorded and released the self-titled album Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow that year.

Stone Free Festival, which happens at The O2, London on Saturday 17th June 2017, have announced more acts and stages for the day which is headlined by Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow. Playing a full headline set and closing the afternoon bands in the Indigo @ the O2 are Blue Oyster Cult, who are joined by The Answer, and Gun. Plus, after the Rainbow show there's an after party with Steve'n'Seagulls. Headliners Rainbow will be supported for their headline show by Sweet, and it's sure to be a 'hell raiser'.
