Punky's Dilemma was written by Paul Simon for Mike Nichols’ film The Graduate but was unused. It ended up on the Simon & Garfunkel album Bookends. Streisand's recording was released by Columbia as the backside of the single Frank Mills ( in February 1969. Barbra also used to sing Punky's Dilemma in her act at the International Hotel in Las Vegas. Barbra sang the song live in 1965 at a Broadway benefit (Broadway Answers Selma)

Frank Mills (born June 27, 1942) is a Canadian pianist and recording artist, best known for his solo instrumental hit "Music Box Dancer". Mills was born in Montreal, Quebec. He was raised in Verdun, Quebec and started playing piano at the age of three. Mills attended McGill University for five years. At McGill, he initially studied engineering, but eventually switched to the Department of Music.
