There are two different cover versions of this release.
The main melody of track 1 and 3 is a re-worked theme by Masato Nakamura taken from the Dr. Robotnik boss battle scenes of the video game "Sonic The Hedgehog 2" on Sega Mega Drive. They further contain samples of sound effects from the same game and from "Sonic CD" on Sega Mega CD.
