As a teenage dreamer the words from the 1971 film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, stayed with me all my life until they made it onto the Ultra-Sonic track The Dreamers of Dreams (Global Tekno) lost on the dance floor with a head full of fearless possibility and passion ahead of me.

Ultra-Sonic Biography 1990-2019. Very few mainstream or rock bands, let along dance acts, can boast of the consistent success of ULTRA-SONIC. This seminal Scottish rave duo was founded by Mallorca Lee and Rodger Hughes in 1990, influenced by their love of Acid House, Public Enemy & Adamski and named after a machine at Lee's factory job which used ultrasonic sound waves to clean the hard drives he was assembling. Their second tour video GLOBAL TEKNO JUNKES followed and captured their sold out performances around the word.
