Phantasmagoria is the sixth album by the Damned, released by MCA in July 1985. After much wrangling, the Damned received a new contract with MCA Records in October 1984 on the strength of the song "Grimly Fiendish", issued as a single the following March. They recorded the album in Eel Pie Studios between March and June 1985.

the damned, phantasmagoria in valencia, stranges times 80s MESCAL. Now this is an awesome find! I have the "Anything" album, but never heard this Phantasmagoria album and it is 2018.
Released in July 1985, Phantasmagoria was Vanian’s album through and through. The majority of the music had been written by Roman Jugg, but it is the frontman who dominates. Swiftly outstripping all of its predecessors, Phantasmagoria peaked at number 11 in the UK album charts and went on to earn The Damned a silver disc.
