Mistaken Identity is the second album by Australian singer Delta Goodrem, released in Australia on 8 November 2004, a day before Goodrem's twentieth birthday, by Epic and Daylight Records. Goodrem co-wrote some of the album with Guy Chambers, who also produced the album with Richard Flack and Steve Power.

Mistaken Identity (Vernon Reid album). Mistaken Identity is the debut solo album of American guitarist and Living Colour-member Vernon Reid, released in June 1996 on Sony Music-imprint label 550 Music. It features contributions from his backing band Masque, and production was handled by Reid, hip hop producer Prince Paul, and jazz producer Teo Macero. The album's title was inspired by Reid's experience with cultural identity in his life.

Mistaken Identity is the sixth studio album by American singer Kim Carnes. It was released in April 1981 by EMI America Records. The album spent four weeks at number one on the Billboard 200, and was subsequently certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It was nominated for the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.

From his days with Living Colour and his collaborations with Bill Frisell, to Mistaken Identity, his first solo album, he has demonstrated that he can play vast array of styles and licks, as well as considerable ambition.
