The next album, 2010’s Wherever the Sun Sets, has a noticeably different sound than Nightdrive With You. It’s a great release, but it has a more pop-rock disposition. Rivière says he wanted to introduce more organic sounds and have proper drums. I had a producer and didn’t do it myself, which I think was a pretty big mistake, he says. But things can happen and that’s fine.
