Complete your Sourdough Singers collection. This was a high school Folk style singing group from Matador, TX. But they did play their own banjo, guitar and piano background too. They were active in the mid-sixties mostly, graduating in 1965-66. These songs were recorded at N. Petty Studio in Clovis. Richard Campbell sang the lead on one song and his older sister Charlotte Cullen sang lead on the other, while cousin Gary played guitar, sang and had written the one song "Lonely Nightingale". It received air-play in Canada after the record was re-released on the SWAN label in . 967

I'm a sourdough newbie and this recipe looks right up my alley for a starting loaf. I have made this recipe twice now. I am new to sourdough bread and have had a few problems with my first half dozen loaves before trying this recipe out. It isnt my starter, which is 100% rye and very responsive and active, so strongly suspect it is me :-) This bread is the best I have made, with lovely flavour and nice open crumb.

San Francisco sourdough culture and many other authentic sourdough cultures from around the world, recipes, and the only scientific book on sourdough baking. We currently grow and harvest 17 authentic cultures collected from Australia to Russia and from many other countries at our Idaho facilities. The dried cultures are packaged in Mylar envelopes containing a 1 ounce, (28 gram) mixture of dormant sourdough organisms and the flour in which they were grown. If properly cared for they will remain viable and useful for your lifetime. Once activated by feeding flour and water as directed by the included instructions, which usually takes 3-5 days, they are ready to use or refrigerate (not frozen).
After recording an eponymous solo studio album in 1972, Souther next teamed up with Chris Hillman and Richie Furay to form the Souther–Hillman–Furay Band. The group released two albums, but creative tensions, and lack of record sales led to the band's demise. Souther is probably best known for his songwriting abilities, especially in the field of country rock. He co-wrote some of the biggest hits for the Eagles, including "Best of My Love", "Victim of Love", "Heartache Tonight", and "New Kid in Town".
