The Old Devils is a novel by Kingsley Amis, first published in 1986. The novel won the Booker Prize. It was adapted for television by Andrew Davies for the BBC in 1992, starring John Stride, Bernard Hepton, James Grout and Ray Smith (it was the latter's last screen appearance before his death). Alun Weaver, a writer of modest celebrity, returns to his native Wales with his wife, Rhiannon, sometime girlfriend of Weaver's old acquaintance Peter Thomas.
The Dollar Album is the third and final studio album released by the pop group Dollar. It was released in October 1982 and featured five top 40 hit singles, including their biggest "Mirror Mirror". Old Devil Moon (оригинал Frank Sinatra). I look at you and suddenly something in your eyes I see; Soon begins bewitching me. It's that old devil moon that you stole from the skies. It's that old devil moon in your eyes. You and you glance make this romance too hot to handle.
Lyrics to "Old Devil Moon" song by Frank Sinatra: I look at you and suddenly, something in your eyes I see; Soon begins bewitching me. It's that old . . You've got me flyin' high and wide, on a magic carpet ride; Full of butterflies inside. Wanna cry, wanna croon, wanna laugh like a loon. Just when I think, I'm free as a dove. Old devil moon, deep in your eyes, blinds me with love.
