4 is the fourth studio album by English rock band Black Sabbath, released in September 1972. It was the first album by Black Sabbath not produced by Rodger Bain; guitarist Tony Iommi assumed production duties. Patrick Meehan, the band's then-manager, was listed as co-producer, though his actual involvement in the album's production was minimal. In June 1972, Black Sabbath began work on their fourth album at the Record Plant studios in Los Angeles.

Chicago at Carnegie Hall is the first live album by American band Chicago and was initially released in 1971 as a four LP vinyl box set on Columbia Records. While touring in support of Chicago III, Chicago booked themselves into the Carnegie Hall for a week in April 1971 and recorded all of their shows. I was a big Chicago fan back in the 70s and I still am. I did not purchase this album when it came out though, I missed it some how, this thing called rock got in the way and they were forgotten for several years. What is so sweet about this recording is that it covers the first three albums, which in my opinion set a standard and will never happen again. Chicago would never sound more progressive and tight than this.
