They are signed to the Kscope record label and released their debut album Grappling Hooks on 22 March 2010. The band currently consists of Sam Healy (lead vocals, guitars, keyboards), Ben Martin (drums, programming) and Chris Howard (bass, bass synth, backing vocals).

North Atlantic Oscillation are an electronic rock band based in Scotland. They released their first single 'Some Blue Hive' on One Records in June 2007. In 2009 the band signed to Kscope - a Snapper Music label - and released an EP called 'Callsigns'. Their debut album 'Grappling Hooks' was released to critical acclaim in the UK in March 2010. Throughout this period, the band toured the UK and Europe with Porcupine Tree, Anathema and Blackfield.
Fog Electric, the new album from North Atlantic Oscillation Fog Electric is the follow-up to Grappling Hooks, the band’s debut which received massive critical acclaim when it was released in 2010.
