Erdmöbel made their recording deb. .Formed in 1995 in Münster and subsequently based in Cologne, the lighthearted German pop/rock band Erdmöbel are comprised of Markus Berges (songwriting, vocals, guitar, trumpet), Ekimas (production, guitar, trombone), Chris deWueb (drums), and Jürgen Diehle (bass). Erdmöbel made their recording debut on NRW Records with Das Ende der Diät (1996), and two more albums for the label followed, Erste Worte Nach Bad mit Delfinen (1999) and Erdmöbel Versus Ekimas (2000).
