Empty' is the first real album of the French band Leiden, after the acclaimed EP 'L'Aube Spirituelle'. I can't wait to say that kind of album is bound to lead French metal on the road of recognition. Only a few bands in the world can pride themselves on having so much originality. The most astounding fact for those who know their first EP is the impression of maturity that drips of 'Empty'. Whereas on 'L'Aube Spirituelle' one sometimes had the feeling to hear a young band, as a few flaws were made, 'Empty' is the album of an adult band that masters the songwriting.

Empty is the debut studio album by American Christian rock band Tait and was the first of three solo albums released by members of dc Talk following their 2001 hiatus to work on solo projects. This album features Pete Stewart from Grammatrain, who is absent in the next album. Several songs are influenced by the passing of Michael Tait's late father Nathel, for whom the band is named.

All the standard dependencies of this style of Gothic Metal are here. Empty is not completely bad. It’s still very worthwhile to the main fans of the genres since from an overall perspective there are enough quality songs to warrant a purchase with above average vocals, quality aggressive sections (aggressive for a Gothic Metal band), and strong production from an instrument stand point.
