Errol Brown MBE passed away in The Bahamas this morning with his wife Ginette and daughters Colette and Leonie by his side of liver cancer," he said. Errol was a lover of life and obviously 'music!' I never went into his home, car or a hotel room without music playing. Errol was a 'Gentle Man' and was a personal friend of mine who will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him," Phil Dale continued. Errol Brown was such a charismatic performer. Brown was born in Jamaica but moved to the UK with his mother when he was 12. His musical career began in 1969 when he and some friends sent their own reggae version of Give Peace a Chance to its writer John Lennon. We all laughed about it," Brown told BBC Breakfast in 2009.

Heaven is the place from which Christ came down: " ‘For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world' " (John 6:33). The Bible describes heaven not only as the place from which God looks down upon the earth but also the place from which Christ came down to the earth. More than anything else-heaven is a city. In Revelation 20-22, we see that this city is replete with walls, gates, and streets  . Here’s a prayer you can begin to pray today to draw close to God and long for heaven: Lord, I confess I don’t often long for heaven. I’m a creature of this world and crave worldly things, not heavenly ones.

Where noble thoughts shrink in dreary sands are lost, reason be slaved to burning passions, desire for enjoyment blurring the last liming lines, is verily hell indeed!, save me, I pray earnest to, thee. Where the truth prevails supreme, virtue honoured goodness a presiding priest, at the altar of truth, offering self sacrifice, worshiping thy divine images on earth, is true heaven, land me in again, my dear, again. Topic(s) of this poem: prayers.

ANDREW BROWN, Religious Affairs Correspondent. Sunday 3 July 1994 00:02. Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.

Hot Chocolate frontman Errol Brown has died, aged 71. His manager, Phil Dale, said the singer had been suffering from liver cancer. He died at home in the Bahamas. Hot Chocolate had hits over nearly 30 years – Love Is Life reached No 6 in 1970, and a remix of You Sexy Thing reached No 6 in 1997 – but were most popular in the late 1970s and early 1980s, when the distinctively bald Brown was a regular on Top of the Pops. There was always music around wherever he was, Dale said.
