Prism is the self-titled debut album by Canadian rock band Prism. It was released in May 1977 on the Canadian record label GRT. It was produced primarily by Bruce Fairbairn and the majority of songs written by Jim Vallance (he also served as co-producer on two tracks). It achieved platinum status in Canada (in excess of 100,000 units sold). Prism peaked at on the Billboard 200 in November 1977.

Prism (プリズム Purizumu) is a Japanese jazz fusion band formed in 1975. Prism was formed in 1975 by Akira Wada, Ken Watanabe, Katsutoshi Morizono, Koki Ito and Toru Suzuki. Most of the musicians had little professional experience, aside from Morizono, who founded the progressive rock band Yonin Bayashi. In 1976, the group were signed to Polydor Records, performed as an opening act for Eric Clapton, and toured nationwide
