My biggest issue in learning the songs is isolating the guitar parts, because there are so many layers. Marco Pirroni defined a sound-style and without him Adam & The Ants would never have been as big as they became. A massive "Thank you" to Marco for all of this Thank-You !.

The Human Beings This is a brand new remodelled version of Kings of the Wild Frontier. It was Adam himself that asked me to record the album, which of course was a great honour and thrill. We were very flattered when co-writer of the original album and Ant guitarist Marco Pirroni wanted to work with us on the album injecting his signature guitar playing and Izzie Voodoo provided additional vocals and bass guitar, enabling us to complete the work we hope you like it.

Johnny Normal’s download only rework celebrates 36 years since the original release, and sees the talented producer recording his own unique versions of all of the songs. The album features double Ivor-Novello Award-Winning Ants songwriter and guitarist Marco Pirroni. The album project was initially the idea of Adam Ant himself, who liked the style of Johnny’s music

Marco Pirroni was, amongst other things, Adam Ant‘s co-writer for over 20 years. On 14th March Johnny Normal met and interviewed Marco at length. The following interview touches on such things as his time with the Ants, Sinead O’Connor, social media, tribute acts/covers, fans and his thoughts on the possibility of an Ants reunion. Also included in the piece are some exclusive photo’s of Marco shot by Robert Minter. If image was all that they had, they would've remained a fad, but Kings of the Wild Frontier remains a terrific album because it not only has some tremendous songs - the title track and "Antmusic" are classic hits, while "Killer in the Home" and "Physical (You're So)" are every bit their equal - but because it. fearlessly, imperceptibly switches gears between giddy and ominous, providing nothing short of a thrill ride in its 13 songs. This spring Adam Ant will be touring his classic Kings Of The Wild Frontier album. It’s a rare album revisit that makes sense. A celebration of a pop culture artifice and a fantastically bizarre pop record that broke into the mainstream but was perhaps even more art school weird than the preceding Dirk Wears White Socks debut. This is one of those revisits that is more like an archive museum tour -a reminder of the potent brilliance of pop music at its most thrilling and imaginative  . Heartbroken and without his gang of droogs Adam leafed through his address book and set across London and knocked on the door of Marco – the last gunslinger left from punk who had been the youngest person hanging out in in the 1975 Sex shop.
