Othello Woolf, or Oliver as he is otherwise known, unleashed his sparky debut single "Stand" back in January. The 27 year-old Londoner&aposs lazy dance hall beats and upbeat melodies bring to mind a young Bryan Ferry - which only adds to our certainty that Othello&aposs upcoming album (released on 5 July) will make an ideal soundtrack to the summer. Whatever the weather, Othello Woolf will play a stripped-back acoustic gig at London&aposs Sanderson hotel this evening (Thursday) as part of the Morgan Hotel group&aposs summer music series, Sanderson.
