Ghost Riders is the sixth album by American southern rock band Outlaws, released in 1980. This album is regarded by many fans as the last Outlaws album that followed their old fashioned southern rock style, and also sparked a comeback after the mediocre sales of prior albums. Their cover of "(Ghost) Riders In the Sky" was one of their most successful songs earned the band some attention outside southern rock circles

I was not however a huge fan of Playin' To Win at the time of it's release in 1978 but listening to it now and coming to understand the dynamics taking place in the group at the time I've gained a new appreciation for the material on the record though I still believe the record was overproduced. The sound quality was good, especially on the "Ghost Riders" album.
