Going to a Go-Go" is a 1965 single recorded by The Miracles for Motown's Tamla label. Issued in December 1965, "Going to a Go-Go" peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States the following spring. In addition, the single peaked at number-two on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart and was The Miracles' fifth million-selling record. Smokey Robinson sings lead on "Going to a Go-Go", which he co-wrote with fellow Miracles Pete Moore, Bobby Rogers, and Marv Tarplin.

Isn't go boxing like go fishing? Go fishing doesn't mean your are going to watch fishes, but fish them! In this sense, you are not going to watch a box match, but going to fight or practice bo. The context of "to go boxing" would be for example talking about the sports you play /do or go. For example can I say:"I go boxing twice a week"? as I say "I go swimming twice a week" or should I say: "I do boxing twice a week"? Thanks a lot, myol.

Re: do boxing, go boxing. A boxer would say, "I box professionally". Only if he's taken a few too many to the head might he say "I do boxing professionally". It would be fine for a regular activity to say something like, "I go boxing on Tuesdays". I feel that a native speaker won't necessarily cock an eyebrow if you say, "I do boxing professionally.

A Go Go is an album of mostly breezy, sometimes tense, jam-based grooves. The album's charm is in its "city meets the tropics" feel. The four players create such a warm, vibrant sound that resisting the urge to tap one's feet along with the beat becomes a near impossibility. It's clear that Scofield enjoyed the collaboration, as his guitars seem to nearly speak joy. His alternately jangling and plucking style sees him weaving in and out of the young trio's sound net with ample confidence. As fun as A Go Go is, it's just as well-sequenced, as Scofield and company vary their pace and tone expertly throughout the album's running time. A Go Go is far more than four cool cats jamming together and enjoying each other's company. It's an immensely entertaining, enlightening ride.
