There was The Madness, a very odd semi-reunion album. There was Suggs’ skaraoke solo album, there was the Dangermen collectio. ll target-missers on various levels. But The Liberty Of Norton Folgate – a title which makes sense in context but is otherwise unlikely to be jamming up the ringtone sites – is Madness in both their pomp and their prime.

Liberty Madness is a punk band from Mannheim, Germany. Liberty Madness plays fast and melodic punk rock. Their music is influenced by classic Fat Wreck bands, 80's Hardcore and '77 Punk. Currently the band is unactive due to the lack of a drummer. However the members are also active in other bands such as The Rätz, Reiz, Zustände, Alien TV. What Do You Think Of This Album? al. one of my favourite madness albums. my favourite since the rise and fall. well produced and well crafted. all the lads display their talents in style. even got a high five of chrissy boy at the gig in dublin durning that tour. Forever Young in Heart and Mind.

For Madness, it clearly represents the essence of the freewheeling Cockney spirit sketched out in the album's 14 songs: as they claim in between the blizzard of namechecked locations in the opening "We Are London", anything is possible "if we all live together as one big family".
