Edward Thomas "Eddie" Rabbitt (November 27, 1941 – May 7, 1998) was an American singer-songwriter and musician.
Eddie Rabbitt made quite a career out of singing songs that fit comfortably on both AC and Country stations. Hits like "Gone Too Far" and "I Love A Rainy Night" were played on both and received with much enthusiasm. To my knowledge, Rabbitt was never considered a sell out. Perhaps this is because he consistently churned out songs like "Suspicions" that fit perfectly on AC radio and then turned around and made Country greats like "Drivin' My Life Away" and "Rocky Mountain Music . Fans of artists such as Doug Stone, Conway Twitty, and 80's R&B country will be sure to enjoy this album also. 15 people found this helpful.
