Okay, Aereogramme are a band from Glasgow (that's in Scotland, for all your uneducated foreigners), and they play post-rock type music. Any fans of that sort of thing are probably playing with one of two names in their mind right now - Mogwai or Belle and Sebastian. Maybe even both, and their being on the same label as them will do little to diminish this idea.

Aereogramme – A Story In White. Label: P-Vine Records – PCD-23222. The japanese version of the "A Story in White", originally published in the UK by Chemikal Underground on CD and LP, contains 7 bonus tracks (from their Fukd . Glam Cripple EP (Tracks 14 to 17) and their White Paw EP (Tracks 11 to 13)). It comes with the original booklet, plus additional japanese booklet and OBI stripe.
Glasgow guitar rock force Aereogramme are a surprisingly pleasing and interesting act whose supernatural dynamic techniques level most of their competition. Drifting out of thick sonic wanderings and spacy keyboard sounds into heavily distorted and explosive crescendos, the group is at times as powerful as the emotionally expansive early days of Sunny Day Real Estate. They also prove their varied skills with equally engaging quiet numbers where solid songwriting takes precedence and doesn't try too hard to floor the listener with volume.
Aereogramme were an ive/post-rock four-piece from Glasgow. Formed in 1998, the band released four full-length albums, 'A Story In White', 'Sleep and Release', 'Seclusion' and 'My Heart Has A Wish That You Would Not Go', and a couple of EPs on Chemikal Underground Records. The band announced their split on May 11th 2007.
