The film version was recorded at the Centaur Theatre during the annual Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Canada. I met Bill Hicks at Scott Hansen's Comedy Gallery the weekend after we got 30 inches of snow on Halloween. He asked me if I had any ideas of shooting his album cover titled Relentless. My friend John and I took him out in the middle of nowhere Minnesota and Bill without a winter jacket. This one didn't make the cover of the album but captures al my emotions of the time. Bill died if cancer at 32 years of age and I can't even begin to tell you how he changed my life.
