No, we're not going to Describe Blatant Lies because. An ad for a product called the "Smoke Assassin" avoids blatant lies by pointing them out. This is an actual quote from the ad: Ad Guy: We can't say it'll make you quit smoking, but thousands quit every day. We can't say it's a healthy smoke, but you do the math! A commercial for Burn Notice and White Collar is an exercise in telling the most blatant lie. FBI Agent Burke: Do you have a permit for that weapon? Fi: What weapon?

Parked on the side of the road is a black police van, which is said to symbolize authorities who kept silent about Paul's fatal fender-bender. Say what you will the tenuousness of these symbols-there’s no denying that van is keeping mum. The back cover of the album. 6. The girl in the blue dress. On the night of Paul’s supposed car accident, he was believed to have been driving with a fan named Rita. That's exactly what Blatant Finger has provided us with their self-released EP, "Eight For The Road". The EP, while only containing 8 songs, provides exactly the type of songs that the title makes self explanatory for: the road. The songs have such a quality of free spirited rock-n-roll times, you'll almost plan out your own road trip just to bump the CD on full blast. Among the songs are a variety of little treats, such as a Rolling Stones cover of the song "As Tears Go By", and a Poison cover of the ever popular song, "Every Rose Has it's Thorn". It's understandable though, especially when it sounds as good as Blatant Finger. The sound of the band in the EP bears resemblance to bands such as Social Distortion and The Crowd. It resembles Social D in its mix of old school Rock-N-Roll, and it bears its resemblance to The Crowd through its punk side.
