CAREFUL WITH THE VERSION :Warning !I mention it because no one seems to signal it or to be moved in the comments ... AT ALL AND AT ALL: ATTENTION! There are two albums "Plastic Ono Band", with exactly the same cover, with nothing written on it, except that the titles inside are not the same ... one of John Lennon and another of Yoko Ono.The one from John Lennon contains these titles:1. Mother2. Hold On3. I Found Out4. Working Class Hero5. Insulation6. Remember7. Love8. Well Well Well9. Look at Me10. God11. My Mummy's DeadBonus tracks:12. Power to the People13. Do the OzAnd the one from Yoko Ono contains these titles: 1. Why2. Why Not3. Greenfield Morning I Pushed Empty Baby Carriage All Over The City4. AOS5. Touch Me6. Paper ShoesBonus Tracks:7. Open Your Box8. Something More Abstract9. The South WindThanks to Lennon and Ono for confusing us like that! It's dishonest limit!I wanted to buy John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band and accidentally, not knowing there was another one, I bought the one from Yoko Ono !!Nobody warns on the Internet against the confusion between these two albums, that's why I do it here.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL !!! Excellent !!! I like that joke !!!! :p

That's the only way you could sell her album i don't know anybody who would deliberately buy one of her records.

Maybe you are right but the two front cover are almost the same and for those who did not know about the existence of the two albums and then are not aware that there is a kind of trap, they'll have serious risks to make the mistake (I was one of them and I did it !)... I also learned about the back cover, but after I knew the existence of two albums physically almost the same (except if you know there are two albums, there are differences between them and except if you know where to watch). I didn't know there was two different albums with the same name and almost the same sleeve and I didn't know who is the child I saw in back cover...So I guess my comment is welcome, because many people will make the mistake if no-one talk about the possible confusions with those two albums. What you have done is important too because after they know there are two albums almost identical you learn them how to distinguish one from the other... So, thank you ;)

The confusion is understandable, and it is worthwhile informing people of the two different Plastic Ono Band albums. However, the two records do not have "exactly the same cover." Look more closely and you will see that on John's record, Yoko is leaning against the tree with John in her lap. On Yoko's record, John leans against the tree with Yoko in his lap. The images on the back covers are different too: on John's a picture of him as a child; on Yoko's a picture of her as a child.

speaking of classic : astonishing scream and intensifying musical therapy *****

A beautiful "proper" debut from John, it remains a top 5 (usually #1 on many a critics’ list) essential post Beatle's era solo album without question. Sure there is "Imagine", and the rest of John's catalogue, but this album is his most solidly focused effort from beginning to end, fully holding the listeners attention. "Plastic Ono Band" is smartly conceptual (without being grandiose), deeply personal, painfully honest, and most importantly, visceral, if not therapeutic. This 1st press 1u 1u plays beautifully, there is as much depth and directness in it's sound as there is in John's intentions. His brave focus on his own identity here is conveyed through the record's warmth and clarity. The latest 2015 vinyl digital remaster is updated to play with so much low end, that some of the original's subtleties and emotive buildups get a little buried or lost, for the unnatural sounding boomy overhaul fills in the space where the original 1u 1u used to breathe and translate. The album, and it's message, was presented correctly the first time, way back in 1970, you dig a pony?!

I agree with you ,this is amazing album, so fresh and full of emotions. Beautiful
