Originally aired on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix with host Pete Tong, Parts 1 and 2 were played in back to back Essential Mix shows (part 1 the first week, part 2 the second week), later released as two promo-only CD's. Warning - Unlike the two discs of Deck Safari (Part 1), this pair come with a two second gap at the end of each track which makes for a jarring listen.

Moon Safari is the debut studio album by French electronic music duo Air, released on 16 January 1998. Virgin Records re-released Moon Safari on 14 April 2008 to mark the album's tenth anniversary. Moon Safari was acclaimed by critics and remains Air's most renowned release.
Air is a music duo from Versailles, France, consisting of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. Air's debut EP, Premiers Symptômes, was followed by the critically acclaimed album Moon Safari, the re-release of Premiers Symptômes, The Virgin Suicides score, and subsequently albums 10 000 Hz Legend, Everybody Hertz, Talkie Walkie, Pocket Symphony, Love 2 and Le voyage dans la lune. Some of the tracks on this release were incorrectly titled in the initial press release, such as: Executive Party (a reworked version of 'Executive Party Dance', also on the Rollerball OST) and Pornoviewer ('Pornographic Movies'). Also, mistyped titles include: The Soft Weed Factor, Computer's Dream, Lovin' You, Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake & Everybody's Talkin'.
