The Brothers Four is an American folk singing group, founded in 1957 in Seattle, Washington, known for their 1960 hit song "Greenfields". Bob Flick, John Paine, Mike Kirkland, and Dick Foley met at the University of Washington, where they were members of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity in 1956 (hence the "Brothers" appellation).

Brothers Four fans will delight in the songs on this double album but the sound quality is what blew me away. Sony has done an outstanding job with this album. You would never believe these songs were originally recorded in the '50s and '60s. It's truly amazing how good these songs sound. 28 people found this helpful.
