Blackfield - Live In New York City album flac

Released in 2007, "Blackfield Live in New York City" is a great concert where the band performed most of their better recognized catalogue. Steven Wilson and Aviv Geffen handle vocals, guitars, and keyboards, alongside guests Tomer Z on drums, Eran Mitelman on keyboards, and strings performances by the London Session Orchestra. Legendary producer, engineer Alan Parsons produced three of the album's key tracks.

Concert recording NYC: Live in New York City was issued as a DVD that year, with a CD/DVD release following in 2009. After this, Wilson's other commitments began to take precedence, and more of the songwriting duties were handed over to Geffen, as reflected in the title of the third album, Welcome to My DNA, released in 2011.

The pair makes for a formidable musical force; Geffen has worked with legendary producers Tony Visconti and Trevor Horn, has played live with U2 and Placebo, and is currently a judge on the Israeli TV show 'The Voice'. Wilson, after a long tenure as the leader of the hugely influential band Porcupine Tree, has since embarked on a highly successful solo career, achieving 3 UK top 40 albums (the most recent also making the top 3 in Germany, and The Netherlands), and 4 Grammy nominations.

Blackfield II has emerged to be the second studio album by the Blackfield band. This album was recorded in London and Tel Aviv and it was later released on March 6, 2007, in United States and February 13, 2007, in Europe.
