Dorsey William Burnette III (born May 8, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter who was part of the band Fleetwood Mac from 1987 to 1995. Burnette also had a brief career in acting. The son of Dorsey Burnette and Alberta Burnette, Billy Burnette was born into a musical family.

Billy Burnette is the fourth album by the musician of the same name, released in 1980. It was the first of two albums he released on Columbia Records along with Gimme You (1981). It is not to be confused with the identically titled albums released in 1972 and 1979 respectively. The song Don't Say No was released as a single and peaked at on Billboard. The son of Dorsey Burnette and Alberta Burnette, Billy was born into a musical family. His father and his uncle Johnny Burnette were two of the members of the 1950s band The Rock and Roll Trio, which also included Paul Burlison. It is written that Billy performed on occasion with the Trio around the age of three. At age 11, Billy recorded his first album for A&M Records. Two years later, Billy went on tour with Brenda Lee while teaching himself to play guitar in the meantime. Like countless other guitarists, Billy learned to play by listening to others rather than taking lessons.
